In 2010 we were lucky to have a new library by the renovation of the original school building (1880) which is a heritage listed building and a very important part of the history of the Frederickton community.
This building was designed by the architect John Horbury Hunt. It has beautiful gothic features, such as the copper weather vane, the bell tower, high vaulted ceilings and leadlight windows. The message on these windows reflects the enduring respect for learning and education - Learning is the eye of the mind and Knowledge in Youth is Wisdom in Age.
The library has now had Wifi installed to enable a more flexible use of technology within this learning space. The library is also equipped for video conferencing as it is one of our "connected classrooms".
Each year, Book Week is celebrated each year with a book parade.
